Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, thanked Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, governor of Assiut, and the Egyptian Family House Foundation, headed by Sheikh Sayed Abdel Aziz, secretary general of the family house, for distributing winter blankets and some gifts in kind to patients of the southern Egypt Institute of oncology at Assiut University, as part of continuous efforts to provide support to the most caring citizens, which embodies the values of social solidarity and teamwork; to serve the community, expressing his pride in the community, humanitarian and charitable role of the family house foundation.

   Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, praised the outstanding performance of the South Egypt Institute of oncology, and the management of the institute under the Deanship of Dr. Mohammed Abu al-Magd, in the field of oncology, and his acceptance of difficult cases, rare cancers, noting that other hospitals refuse to treat such cases, but Assiut University institute accepts and treats them according to international protocols of treatment, and performs its humanitarian and national role; without any discrimination, adding that the institute is a specialized, integrated educational institution; to treat all types of tumors, all ages for free, and provides services at the highest level to patients.
