The department’s vision focuses on preparing professional and distinguished doctors in the scientific field, who are committed to developing all branches of clinical toxicology and forensic medicine and add progress to it. Moreover, we guarantee that our students will be able to compete in all fields of science and knowledge.

Mission

The Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University seeks to:

Introducing highly qualified medical education in forensic medicine and clinical toxicology as well as medical ethics courses in practicing the medical profession for Egyptian and expatriate students.

Providing an educational service with a high level of quality. In addition to acquiring excellence via maintaining high academic standards and distinguished professional ethical behavior.

Overview

We are also committed to promote scientific research, upgrade and develop the medical profession; in addition to providing satisfactory health services for the community in a moral and ethical framework.

Overview

Internal medicine or general internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists, or physicians in Commonwealth nations.
