Research Abstract

research aime :
The research aims to design a proposed training program using functional strength exercises and study its impact on: physical variables, fast starting speed and the numerical level for 100 meters sprint race using added weights according to the relative distribution of the body parts of the experimental group. Curriculum used:
The researcher used the experimental method according to the nature of the research problem and its objectives, by designing two groups, one experimental and the other is control, by applying the pre-post measurements as an experimental design to suit the nature of the study, check its hypotheses, and adjust its variables.
Research community:
The research community included juniors less than 18 years for100 meters running from the New Valley clubs Governorate for the year 2015/2016, their number is 25 juniors.
Conclusions:
The proposed training program using functional strength exercises with added weights according to the body parts relative distribution has a more positive effect on the improvement of the physical variables, the flying speed and the numerical level of the 100 meter race of the experimental group.
Recommendations:
The functional strength exercises, with added weight (weight belt - jacket) according to the relative distribution of the body parts, must include within the components of athletics training programs.
