Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit is organizing a student symposium entitled: "A Study of the Obstacles Facing Students and the Requirements of the Labor Market." The symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in Hall (1) of the Faculty. The symposium will be attended by Professor Dr. Emad Samir Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Yasser Hassan Hamed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Tarek Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.
We therefore urge all third- and fourth-year students to commit to attending and actively participating.
Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Assiut University, organized a student symposium for third- and fourth-year students entitled:
"A Study of the Obstacles Facing Students and the Requirements of the Labor Market."
The symposium was held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in Hall 2 of the Faculty. The symposium was attended by Professor Dr. Emad Samir Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty; Professor Dr. Yasser Hassan Hamed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Ahmed Khedry, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Abdel-Wahab, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Professor Dr. Tarek Mohamed Abdel-Aziz, Director of the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit. Also present were heads of academic departments, members of the Quality Assurance Unit, and a number of faculty members and their assistants.
The seminar was opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam El-Sayed, Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the College, who recited the national anthem. The seminar opened with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech. Students were introduced to the organizational structure of the College's Quality Management Department, including members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Office, and their roles in supporting the development process were explained. The mechanisms and requirements for the College to achieve quality and academic accreditation were also reviewed.
During the seminar, student representatives from the academic departments raised key issues, most notably the obstacles associated with the current regulations and the challenges facing the College's graduates in the labor market. These topics were discussed and addressed by the Dean of the College, the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.
The seminar witnessed a distinguished attendance and interaction from students across the College's various academic years, particularly third- and fourth-year students, who demonstrated a keen interest and willingness to participate in supporting the College's quality process.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the Dean of the College emphasized that quality is a work culture and collective practice that the College seeks to instill. He called on its students to adhere to the spirit of creativity and development and to actively participate in the College's progress. He wished them continued excellence and success in their academic and future endeavors.




The Faculty of Sports Sciences at Assiut University extends its sincere congratulations and deepest pride to His Excellency Professor Dr. Emad Samir on the occasion of the issuance of the presidential decree renewing his appointment as Dean of the Faculty.
On this precious occasion, His Excellency expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for this generous trust, stressing that it is a badge of honor and a strong motivation to exert more effort and dedication in serving the Faculty, the University, and the nation, and moving forward towards achieving the Egyptian state's vision of developing higher education and human development.

In an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and belonging, the opening of the physical preparation phase for first-year students took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the college's new playgrounds. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, and the Vice Deans, under the supervision of the Curriculum and Physical Education Department, faculty members, and their assistants.
The event began with the flag salute, followed by students being directed to attend theoretical lectures by the Academic Guidance Committee, as well as practical lectures and physical preparation stations.
The Dean of the College emphasized that this phase aims to enhance students' physical fitness and prepare them for various sports activities. It also aims to raise their awareness of the regulatory and disciplinary policies that distinguish students in the College of Sports Sciences, ensuring they are always role models for commitment and discipline.
? We emphasize to our students that attendance is mandatory. Registration will be considered part of the actual attendance for the first semester. We therefore urge first-year students to fully commit to attendance.

In a scene resembling a university wedding, the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Assiut University welcomed Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty, with a warm reception filled with flowers, applause, and thunderous cheers. This was in celebration of the issuance of the presidential decree renewing the political leadership's confidence in him as Dean of the Faculty.
A smile of happiness and pride was evident on everyone's faces, as faculty members and their assistants, all employees and administrators, and a large number of students, who expressed their overwhelming joy with cheers and cheers on this precious occasion.
This joyful scene reflected the deep sense of belonging that prevails among the Faculty and its leadership, confirming that this renewed trust is not merely a mandate, but rather a testament to an honorable career and a strong motivation for further success and accomplishments.
We wish him continued success and guidance in leading the Faculty towards a bright future filled with achievement and excellence.



As part of Assiut University's commitment to continuously monitoring the progress of the educational process with the start of the new academic year 2025/2026, the college welcomed His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, this morning as part of his inspection tour of the university's colleges to ensure regular study and overcome any obstacles facing students or faculty members.
His Excellency was received by Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College; Professor Dr. Ahmed Khedry, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; and Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The delegation included a number of former deans, heads of academic departments, and a number of faculty members and their assistants.
During his tour, His Excellency the University President monitored the academic advising activities for first-year students, ensuring they were well-prepared and ready to begin their university studies. He also monitored the regularity of lectures for the remaining classes, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the academic schedule from day one and providing a distinguished learning environment that enables students to achieve optimal academic and skill attainment.
His Excellency held a friendly dialogue with a number of students, listening to their opinions and impressions of the beginning of the academic year. He emphasized the need for continued communication between the college administration and students to listen to their needs and work to meet them. He also praised the regularity of the educational process within the college.
In a kind gesture, the Dean of the College presented His Excellency the University President with a commemorative shield, expressing the college family's appreciation for His Excellency and supporting his ongoing efforts to serve the university and its students. This gesture was widely welcomed amid an atmosphere of happiness and pride.
This visit comes as part of Assiut University's efforts, under the leadership of its President, to support its various faculties and advance the development of academic programs and educational and student services. Within the framework of the presidential initiative "Decent Life for Human Development", the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Assiut University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Alim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Emad Samir Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khedry, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences for Postgraduate Studies and Research, organized an awareness seminar entitled "Reducing the Phenomenon of Smoking and Drug Abuse" on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in Hall (2) at the Faculty, for first-year students as part of the academic guidance activities for the academic year 2025/2026. Prof. Dr. Atef Farouk El-Qarn, Professor of Chest Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, lectured. The seminar aimed to raise students' awareness of the dangers of these negative phenomena to their health and future, and to emphasize the university's role in building an informed generation capable of serving society.
