The Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the time map for the 2019/2020 academic year as follows: First semester: September 21, 2019☆ Duration of study: 15 weeks.First semester exams start: January 4, 2020.End of first semester exams: Thursday, January 23, 2020.☆ Start of half-year holidays: Saturday, January 25, 2020.☆ End of half-year holidays: Thursday, February 6, 2020.Start of the study in the second semester: Saturday, February 8, 2020.☆ Duration of study: 15 weeks.The examinations are conducted during May and June according to the nature of the study at different colleges.
