Announcement

The smart_card as an identifier for the university student
Within the framework of the direction towards expanding the issuance of the smart card as an identifier for students at the university, and in light of the mechanism that was proposed and approved on 9/6/2023 (attached).
We would like to inform you that the number of cards issued does not exceed 5,000 cards from new students, and their number is about 25,000 students, which is a very small percentage.
In light of the meeting of the Directors of Student Affairs on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, various mechanisms for increasing the number were discussed, and the following was agreed upon: 👇
-1- A personal photo with a white background and a photo of the student’s national ID will be sent to the Information Systems Center and will be uploaded by the center (a photo of the card with the phone number written on it)
-2- After delivering the cards to student affairs at the colleges, the student opens the envelope, completes the form attached to the card, and signs twice identically in the signature fields.
- 3- The Student Affairs Officer reviews the student’s data, reviews the signature on the form, seals the form, and attaches a copy of the national ID number stamped with the college’s stamp.
-4- The forms are collected and sent to the Information Systems Center with a list of the names of the students whose forms are attached.
