Prof. Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty—speaking on his own behalf and on behalf of the faculty members, assistant staff, and administrative personnel—is pleased to extend sincere congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. This follows the decision by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to appoint him as Acting President of Assiut University, effective August 1, 2026.

We pray to God Almighty to grant him success and guidance, to assist him in shouldering this responsibility, and to crown his efforts with further success. May his work contribute to continuing the development and advancement of Assiut University and to fulfilling its academic, research, and community-oriented mission.
