"On the occasion of World Diabetes Day and the Year of women and diabetes 2017", the Endocrinology and Diabetes Unit of the Department of Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine was organized jointly with the Department of Science Sports Health at the Faculty of Physical Education, Assiut University sports and cultural activism entitled "Walking protects you from diabetes today and every day" and that morning Monday, 27/11/2017 M. This came under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdo Jaayam, rector of Assiut University, Prof. Dr. Tarek Al Jamal, vice president of the University for Postgraduate studies and research, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salah Qarah, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Menawi, dean of medical School. The student procession began in front of the Faculty of Physical Education and became the campus of Assiut University, with the participation of faculty members and students and followed by a cultural symposium on the Prevention of diabetes.
