1. The Supreme Council of Universities approved that the formation of Referee Committee to evaluate international students theses will not be approved by the Faculty council and University administration except after the full payment of tuition fees including the last payable semester
2. After paying the due fees, and obtaining the approval of the faculty council and university administration on the formation of the referee committee, the student will not incur any tuition fees if he/she successfully passed  theses defense and the referee committee formation is approved within six months of the approval date.
3. In case of exceeding the stated time limit and a new committee is formed, the student shall pay the tuition fees for the academic semesters starting from the approval date on new committee's formation.

These regulations apply only to academic degrees awarded through theses defense. However, in cases that involve examinations, as in faculties of Medicine, Nursing, and South Egypt Cancer Institute, those regulations do not apply.
