ملخص البحث

Three electrical currents 3, 5, 10mA were applied for 24 hours in the ambient rearing water to study their effects on the amputated limbs of tadpoles (stage 56 & 58) of Bufo regularis, in which limb regeneration had normally faded or lost. In the prometamorphic stage (56), it was deduced that 3mA was the best electrical current to evoke restoration of the regenerative power that the other two currents. Concerning the later metamorphic stage (58), comparatively better regenerates were obtained by using 5mA than the other lower and higher currents but none restored any toes.
