Program for the opening of the 7th Creativity Forum at Assiut University

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yasmine Al-Kahki – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Prof. Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Assiut University is honored to invite you to attend and participate in the seventh Ibdaa Forum for Faculties of Specific Education in Egyptian Universities, during the period from January 31 to February 3, 2026. A forum that celebrates art, opens up wide spaces for expression, and brings together creative minds who believe that creativity is the path to success, in an atmosphere of honest competition, exchange of experiences, and support of young talents from various Egyptian universities. This is where creativity is born... And this is where the future is made 

Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahki – Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, extend their sincere congratulations to our students on the occasion of announcing the results of the first semester for the academic year 2025/2026. This applies to first, second, third, and fourth-year students in all departments:
- Department of Art Education
- Department of Music Education
- Department of Home Economics
- Department of Educational Technology

The Dean of the Faculty affirms that the results achieved reflect the great effort exerted by the faculty members and the supporting staff throughout the semester. She wishes the outstanding students continued success and excellence, and for those who were not successful this semester, more dedication to achieve better results in the second semester.

In an atmosphere filled with loyalty and appreciation, the college held a special celebration today to honor Professor Jamal Mahgoub, in recognition of his long journey of dedication and the sincere effort and devotion he has shown in serving the college throughout his years of work. The ceremony was attended by: Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki – Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdul Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Baset – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Hala Salah El-Din Abdel Sattar – Head of the Department of Art Education, Professor Dr. Montaser El-Qallaly – Head of the Department of Music Education, Professor Dr. Hend Mohamed Ali – Head of the Department of Home Economics, and Professor Dr. Saad Hassan Mohy El-Din – Supervisor of the Department of Educational Technology, along with administrative staff and colleagues from the faculty and staff members. <p>Today, the Faculty of Specific Education – Assiut University organized an important awareness seminar titled: 🌱 Towards a Green Faculty 🌱, under the patronage of: His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – University President, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem – Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Baset Mohamed – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was attended by: Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Baset Mohamed – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. This seminar aimed to emphasize the pioneering role of the faculty in spreading environmental awareness culture and encouraging students, staff, and faculty members to participate in green initiatives that support a clean and eco-friendly university environment. The objectives of the seminar were: 1️⃣ To raise awareness about the concepts of green buildings, green offices, and a green faculty. 2️⃣ To actively work on translating these concepts into practical measures and real applications within the faculty. Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, also expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the theoretical exams for the summer semester. They ensured that the exam halls were properly prepared and that all means of comfort and support were provided for our students.
