Assiut University organized the grand celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October War victories, which was held in the university's large conference hall.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, Assiut University organized the grand celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October War victories, which was held in the university's grand conference hall. The celebration was attended by a select group of faculty members, staff, and students from the various faculties of the university, and included a national seminar presented by Major General Pilot Samir Aziz Mikhael – one of the heroes of the glorious October War, interviewed by the renowned journalist Khaled Saad – an expert on media affairs at Egyptian Television. During the seminar, they shared firsthand accounts of the heroic acts of the great Egyptian army and the spirit of sacrifice and devotion demonstrated by the nation’s sons during the Crossing epic. The celebration was also attended by Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, along with a number of faculty members, staff, and students, believing in the importance of instilling values of national belonging and loyalty in students and reinforcing pride in the heroic achievements of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The Student Care Department – the Scientific and Social Committees organized a scientific knowledge competition and a chess competition among the college students.

In the framework of Assiut University's commitment to continuously monitoring the progress of the educational process and providing an outstanding university environment for students, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted a surprise inspection visit to the Faculty of Specific Education. The visit included the facilities related to student activities, lecture halls, and the monitoring and evaluation room. He was received by Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Nariman Ishaq – Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, along with a number of faculty members and staff of the college. During his tour, His Excellency praised the organization and development he observed in the college environment, commending the faculty administration's efforts in supporting student activities and enhancing their role in building the university student's character. He also appreciated the attention given to developing classrooms, lecture halls, and student waiting areas to meet the requirements of the modern educational process. The Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Specific Education – Assiut University organized today, Tuesday, 28/10/2025, the first workshop entitled: 'Promoting a Culture of Quality and Enhancing Education'.

Within the framework of activating the initiative of the President of the Republic, "A New Beginning to Ensure the Quality of Education," which aims to train one hundred thousand students, the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Specific Education – Assiut University organized today, Tuesday, 28/10/2025, the first workshop entitled: "Spreading the Culture of Quality and Enhancing Education." The workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amal Mohamed Tawfik – Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty, with the presence of the members of the Quality Assurance Unit Committee. The unit announced its plan to train 200 students in the upcoming phase. Moreover, the Dean honored the previous quality team and welcomed the new team, wishing them success in continuing the path of performance development and enhancing the quality of education within the faculty. She also extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to Ms. Amal Tahami Mohamed, Ms. Marwa Salah Ezzat, and Ms. Ayat Harbi Hamed, commending their outstanding efforts in improving the performance of the Quality Assurance Unit and supporting the continuous development system in the faculty. This comes as part of the college's commitment to supporting community activities and promoting the spirit of human participation among students. During the visit, students distributed toys and gifts to sick children in an attempt to bring smiles to their faces and alleviate some of their suffering, amid an atmosphere filled with love and compassion. This visit is part of the Social Committee's plan to enhance values of giving, solidarity, and community service, and to instill a spirit of humanity and social responsibility in the students of the faculty
