The mission of the Chemistry Division sugar technology Research Institute is derived from the mission of the Institute by presenting a specialized graduate with a distinctive background in the basic, advanced and applied chemistry according to academic standards that meet the needs of industry, particularly the sugar and related industries. The division is keen to ensure that the graduate is fully aware of professional ethics and environmental protection requirements. The Division offers postgraduate programs (Diploma-Masters-Ph.D.) to prepare researchers that will enable them to contribute to the development of the sugar industry and its integrated industries and to meet the needs of the industry.
