Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the university organized, on Monday, February 9, specialized training courses for students of the Public Policy Information Systems (PPIS) programs at the Faculty of Commerce and English Translation (ETSP) at the Faculty of Arts, in cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, under the auspices of Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the Center and in coordination with the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems in the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the University.

The courses are held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The activities will continue over three days, in implementation of the cooperation protocol concluded between the two sides, and within the framework of the integration of roles between academic and research institutions to support community issues and human development.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the university is keen to prepare its students and qualify them for the labor market through specialized training programs based on the integration of academic knowledge and practical application, pointing out that the cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research represents a successful model of institutional partnership aimed at building the student's personality scientifically and professionally, and enhancing his awareness of community issues.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla stressed that these training courses represent a real opportunity for students to gain practical experiences outside the traditional framework of lectures, and contribute to developing their personalities, building self-confidence, and enhancing their ability to deal with the requirements of professional life.

Professor Mohamed Adawy praised the importance of cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, as it adds a scientific and applied dimension that contributes to raising the quality of training outputs and maximizing their societal impact. He also stressed the role of the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems in providing interactive applied training that links academic knowledge with practical application, and enhances the role of the university as a main engine of development.

In the same context, Dr. Yasser El-Sayed, Coordinator of Events and Training for the Joint Cooperation Protocol, explained that these events represent a real model of partnership between the academic side represented by Assiut University, and the research and applied expertise provided by the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, in order to achieve integration between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, stressing that the real investment of any society starts from investing in its youth, and that this partnership reflects a strategic vision to achieve the knowledge and professional sustainability of university students.

The training courses are divided into two training courses over three days, the first is entitled "Advanced Capacity Building" for students of the Public Policy Information Systems (PPIS) program at the College of Commerce, during which Dr. Abdullah Sulaiman Abdullah, Assistant Professor of Statistics at the Center, will lecture, where he will review the methods of analyzing and presenting smart data using Power BI software.

The second course, titled "Career Readiness and Career Building" for students of the English Translation Program (ETSP) at the College of Arts, will be held during which Dr. Yasser Al-Sayed will present a workshop on the concept of career readiness and its importance in the graduation stage, building professional identity, career planning, interview skills and building professional networks.

Dr. Abdo Al-Ashri, Assistant Professor of Law at the Center, will also participate in a workshop on legal awareness for youth as a safe gateway to the labor market and entrepreneurship, in addition to a workshop presented by Dr. Ghada Riyad, Economics Lecturer at the Center, on the job needs in the labor market, mechanisms for joining it, ways to achieve professional success, and choosing the appropriate career path for university students.

For his part, Dr. Ali Kamal Mabad, Director of the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems, explained that these courses come within the framework of the university's mission to serve the community and develop the environment, and embody the vision of the Egyptian state in investing in human capital, stressing that the training programs contribute to building the capacities of students and graduates through contemporary training content based on scientific research and related to the actual issues of society.

Dr. Asmaa Gaber Mahran, Deputy Director of the Center and Protocol Coordinator at the University, pointed out that the training courses are designed according to a scientific methodology that takes into account national priorities and supports the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Higher Education Strategy, explaining that the programs aim to develop cognitive and practical skills, consolidate the values of citizenship and social responsibility, and enhance awareness of contemporary social issues, in a way that qualifies cadres capable of actively participating in sustainable development efforts.

Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad, presented an awareness seminar for Assiut University students entitled "The Role of Egyptian Diplomacy in Facing Regional Challenges", on Monday, February 9, as part of a series of events and activities organized by the university to enhance students' awareness of regional and international issues.

The seminar was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafeez, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, along with a group of faculty members and their assistants from various faculties of the university, and a group of students.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy praised the lecture delivered by Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, stressing that it reflected the depth of the Egyptian vision in managing regional and international issues, and contributed to simplifying the concepts of foreign policy for students and enhancing their awareness of the role of Egyptian diplomacy in protecting national interests and supporting peace and stability efforts.

Professor Mohamed Adawy also stressed the importance of the role played by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in developing the knowledge and capabilities of university students on foreign policy issues, especially in the African continent and brotherly countries, and highlighting Egypt's pivotal role in supporting security and development efforts.

Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafeez stressed that the college's hosting of this symposium reflects the university's keenness to link academic study with contemporary national and regional issues, pointing out the importance of providing such awareness meetings to students, as they play a role in expanding their perceptions, enhancing their understanding of the nature of regional and international variables, and building awareness capable of analyzing and interacting with events within the framework of the national interest.

Ambassador Tamim Khalaf explained that Egypt's foreign policy is based on several main constants and principles, namely: respect for the sovereignty of states, the unity and territorial integrity of their territories, support for the concept of the national state and its institutions, commitment to international law and the United Nations Charter, and continuous keenness to support security, peace and stability and the peaceful settlement of disputes, stressing that adherence to these principles has strengthened Egypt's credibility and international standing.

Ambassador Tamim Khalaf stressed the stability of the Egyptian position towards the Palestinian cause, pointing out that since the beginning of the Arab-Israeli conflict, Egyptian diplomacy has adopted an approach in support of peace based on justice, and ensuring that the Palestinian people obtain all their legitimate rights in their independent state.

The spokesperson reviewed the pivotal role played by Egypt since the outbreak of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, explaining that the Egyptian move was carried out through three main tracks, the first of which is the political track, where Egypt led intensive efforts to mobilize the international community to recognize the Palestinian state, which resulted in the recognition of it by a number of major countries, as well as its decisive response to attempts to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, and its active participation in the preparation of an integrated plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.

With regard to the humanitarian track, the ambassador explained that about 70% of the humanitarian aid that entered the Gaza Strip was Egyptian aid, stressing the continuation of Egyptian efforts to intensify the flow of humanitarian, relief and medical aid. On the security track, he pointed to Egypt's main contribution through negotiations in reaching a ceasefire agreement, noting Egypt's support for efforts to establish an international stabilization force in the Gaza Strip.

Ambassador Tamim Khalaf also touched on the growing challenges surrounding Egypt's national security, addressing the challenges related to Egyptian water security, reviewing Egypt's position on the Ethiopian Dam. He also reviewed Egypt's position on the Ukraine crisis and the Iranian nuclear file, highlighting the main role played by Egypt in de-escalation and tension in the region.

At the end of the symposium, the official speaker was keen to hold an open dialogue with the students, where a discussion took place with the students on many elements and aspects of Egyptian foreign policy and what Egyptian diplomacy is doing in supporting security, peace and stability in the region.

At the end of the event, the Ambassador expressed his happiness with the positive interaction from the students of Assiut University and their conscious questions, stressing that such dialogues reflect the importance of direct communication with university youth, and enhancing their awareness of regional issues and the Egyptian role in them.

Assiut University, under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, launched a program of periodic field tours to follow up on its colleges and institutes in the field of environmental practices and sustainability, within the framework of the university's plan to promote the concepts of sustainability, spread environmental awareness among its affiliates, and support the efforts of the colleges in developing their educational environment, under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the follow-up of Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hamad, the General Coordinator of the Committee.

In this context, Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, explained during his meeting with the members of the "Environmental Practices and Sustainability" Committee, the controls and mechanisms of work in following up on the extent of the colleges' commitment to environmental practices and sustainability, pointing out that periodic follow-up is one of the main tasks entrusted to the committee, with the aim of ensuring the safety of infrastructure and the sustainability of environmental behaviors that achieve institutional sustainability.

Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hamad, the General Coordinator of the Committee, pointed out that field visits were carried out that included the faculties of medicine, veterinary medicine, agriculture, dentistry, and the Institute of Molecular Biology, in order to follow up on the aspects of occupational safety and health in classrooms, administrative offices, cafeterias, toilets, stores, and skylights, in addition to caring for green spaces and waste recycling mechanisms.

Dr. Rehab Al-Dakhli, the committee's media coordinator, explained that one of the committee's tasks is to emphasize the modernization of media activities in the colleges in the community service and environmental development sector, as this has a positive impact on environmental and institutional sustainability, the sustainability of community activities and initiatives, and the promotion of positive environmental behaviors.

The visits began with an inspection tour by the Vice President of the University at the Faculty of Dentistry, and the visiting delegation included: Dr. Mohamed Thabet, Dr. Rehab Ahmed Zaki, Dr. Mohamed Sami, and Mr. Ayman Ahmed Shehata.

The visiting committee of the College of Veterinary Medicine included: Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hamad, Dr. Sanaa Mohamed Zahran, Dr. Randa Youssef, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qadi, Ms. Nada Youssef, and Mr. Osama Al-Sayed.

The visiting committee of the Institute of Molecular Biology also included: Dr. Yara Ibrahim, Dr. Amal Mahmoud Ali, Dr. Jacqueline Emile, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Saleh, and Ms. Asma Alaa.

The delegation of the visiting committee to the Faculty of Medicine included: Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Dr. Samar Al-Sheshtawi, Dr. Ahmed Nadi, and Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Rahim.

As for the delegation of the visiting committee to the Faculty of Agriculture, it included: Dr. Marianne Milad Mansour, Dr. Marwa Abdel Haq, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, and Dr. Afaf Merhi.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, stressed that the university pays great attention to consolidating the culture of sustainable practices within the campus, in a way that contributes to the preservation of natural resources, reducing waste, and improving energy efficiency, in addition to promoting positive environmental behaviors among students and employees, and supporting interaction with the local community, in a way that reflects the developmental and environmental role of the university as a responsible educational institution that seeks to achieve institutional sustainability in accordance with the state's vision for sustainable development.

In this context, and under the auspices of the President of the UniversityProfessor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, inspected, on Sunday, February 8, the Frozen Meat Products Manufacturing Unit at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, as part of the field follow-up of the facilities and units affiliated to the University.

During the tour, the Vice President of the University was accompanied by Dr. Enas Abdel Hafez, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Madiha Darwish, former Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and supervisor of the Frozen Meat Products Manufacturing Unit, and Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa Mahmoud, Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where they were briefed on the capabilities of the unit, the technical and technical equipment available in it, and the work mechanisms followed.

During the tour, Professor Mohamed Adawy explained that the unit represents an important model of integration between educational and applied aspects, and contributes to the training and qualification of students and graduates, in addition to supporting community service activities, while fully adhering to health and veterinary requirements.

For her part, Dr. Enas Abdel Hafez pointed out that the Meat Products Manufacturing Unit is affiliated with the Meat, Poultry, Fish and Fish Quality Training Center, under the supervision of Dr. Ashraf Abdel Malek, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Director of the Center, explaining that the center aims to prepare qualified cadres of graduates of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine through specialized training programs in the field of meat quality, methods of examination and its suitability for human consumption, while granting trainees certificates approved by Assiut University.

In the same context, Dr. Madiha Darwish explained that the unit includes two outlets for the sale of meat products, one within the manufacturing unit, and the other inside the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Assiut University, stressing that the products are subject to strict veterinary health supervision and control through a group of professors and doctors at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the university, in order to ensure compliance with the approved standards.

Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the Board of Directors of the Conference Center and Guest House held its regular meeting, in order to follow up on the progress of work and discuss mechanisms for developing the services provided and upgrading their level, in the presence of Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Adel Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mr. Shawkat Saber, Secretary General of the University, and members of the Council.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the university is working to develop the management system of the conference center and guest house according to an integrated vision that ensures good management and quality of operation, pointing out that the expansion of the use of electronic systems comes within the framework of enhancing the efficiency of performance and achieving the highest possible benefit from the available capabilities, in a way that supports the university's role in hosting various events and reflects its distinguished institutional image at the local and international levels.

Professor Mohamed Adawy explained that the meeting discussed a number of topics and decisions aimed at developing the services of the guest house and raising the efficiency of its management, including working on developing an electronic system for managing the services of the guest house, and completing a number of organizational and technical procedures, in a way that contributes to improving the level of performance and maximizing the use of available resources.

He added that through these measures, the university seeks to enhance the position of the conference center and the guest house as a distinguished cultural façade that reflects the academic and administrative development of Assiut University, and supports its ability to host various local and international events with high efficiency.

Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the activities of the seventy-sixth course for the preparation of university teachers, organized by the Faculty of Education, Assiut University, were launched during the period from 1 to 4 February, for faculty assistants and researchers.

The activities of the course witnessed the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in addition to a group of faculty assistants and researchers from various faculties of the university.

The course is held under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Mohamed Huwail, Dean of the College of Education and Chair of the course, and Dr. Amani Sharif, 

Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and the course rapporteur.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the launch of the seventy-sixth course for the preparation of university teachers reflects the university's continuous interest in qualifying and developing the capabilities of faculty assistants and researchers, in a way that contributes to improving the level of academic and educational performance in the classrooms.

The President of the University explained that the preparation of the university teacher represents a key pillar to ensure the quality of the educational process, pointing out the keenness of Assiut University to keep pace with the latest educational and technological trends in university education, and to enhance effective teaching skills, modern calendar, and active learning, in a way that supports the preparation of academic cadres capable of creativity and competition, and contributes to achieving the goals of the state and the vision of the new republic to build the Egyptian man.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla stressed that the university teacher preparation course represents a key pillar in qualifying trainees and providing them with the educational and educational skills necessary for university teaching, explaining that it deals with a number of important axes, including teaching planning and organizing the learning environment, active learning strategies, effective teaching methods, in addition to identifying modern trends in evaluating student learning, employing educational technology, preparing and managing the electronic course, developing communication skills in teaching, as well as describing courses and preparing their files and academic programs.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Awada explained that the development of the performance of the university teacher does not stop at the first stage of preparation, but is a continuous process through continuous training, which contributes to raising the level of performance and developing professional competencies, praising at the same time the policy of the Egyptian state, which has made the development of education and health two basic pillars to achieve comprehensive development and human development.

Dr. Hassan Mohammed Huwail pointed out that the preparation of the university teacher is an integrated process aimed at building and developing faculty members and their assistants at the knowledge, cultural, educational, and personal levels, stressing that the College of Education is keen to play its role in this framework by organizing these specialized courses according to the latest scientific and educational foundations.

In the same context, Dr. Amani Sharif explained that the topics of the course address many diverse topics, most notably: student activities and their role in supporting the educational process, modern trends in university education systems, the role of university education in serving the community, university teaching skills, the use of artificial intelligence in education, in addition to the quality of university education in light of the goals of the new republic.

Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, Assiut University hosted the activities of the third training program for Egyptian university students on "Peace and Security in Africa: The Egyptian Vision", under the patronage of Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration. The program is organized by the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation, during the period from 1 to 5 February 2026.

The activities of the program witnessed the presence of Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ambassador Seif Qandil, Director of the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding, and Mr. Steffen Kruger, Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office in Cairo, along with a group of representatives of the Center and the Foundation, with the participation of 40 trainee students from various Egyptian universities.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the university's hosting of the activities of the third training program for Egyptian university students on "Peace and Security in Africa: The Egyptian Vision" comes within the framework of the national and societal role played by the university, and its keenness to support security, peace and development issues, and enhance the awareness of youth about regional and international challenges, especially related to the African continent.

The President of Assiut University explained that the university is keen to build the capacities of its students and qualify them intellectually and knowledgeably, in a way that contributes to preparing young cadres who are aware of the issues of the country and the region, and are able to contribute effectively in supporting stability and achieving sustainable development, pointing out that cooperation with prestigious national and international institutions reflects confidence in the scientific status of Assiut University and its leading role in serving the community and developing enlightened thought among the youth.

Ambassador Saif Kandil explained that the goal of the training program for Egyptian university students is to specialize in African affairs and pay attention to African issues, by providing students with the necessary knowledge of the challenges of peace and security in the African continent, and highlighting Egypt's pivotal role in the region.

He stressed the importance of raising the awareness of university students on the issues of institution-building and governance, transitional justice, community reconciliation, development, social cohesion programs, and the empowerment of women and youth, in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable peace.

For his part, Professor Mohamed Adawy expressed his happiness with the choice of Assiut University to host this training program, as it reflects the distinguished scientific and societal position that the university enjoys at the local and international levels, and its leading role in supporting development and strategic issues.

He pointed out that the program represents an important opportunity for Egyptian university students to acquire practical knowledge and experiences on the concepts of peace and security in Africa in light of the Egyptian vision, in a way that contributes to preparing a conscious generation capable of understanding contemporary challenges and participating effectively in supporting stability and development in the African continent, and consolidating the values of dialogue, coexistence and peace within society.

Mr. Steffen Kruger also praised the participation of the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Cairo in the third training program for Egyptian university students, stressing that this participation aims to promote the culture of dialogue and capacity building among university students, with a focus on Egypt's leading role in the African continent, and achieving security, peace and development at the regional and international levels, through training workshops and interactive discussions. He pointed out that the Foundation has a wide network of relations with African countries to prepare young cadres capable of contributing to the achievement of Stability and sustainable development on the African continent.

The training program includes a series of specialized scientific sessions aimed at raising the trainees' awareness of regional and international issues related to the African continent, and building an integrated understanding of the dimensions of peace, security and development.

Within the framework of Assiut University's comprehensive plan to develop and upgrade the work system within its various sectors, and under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, held a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Central Printing Press, in the context of supporting the efficiency of institutional performance and improving the quality of services provided.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Habi Mustafa Sayed, Director General of the General Directorate of Internal Audit and Governance, Eng. Jalal El-Din Hassan Hamed, Supervisor of the Central Printing Press, Dr. Sara Tarek Kamal, Lecturer at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Dr. Abdulkarim Mahmoud Aboulifa, Lecturer at the Faculty of Commerce, and Mr. Mohamed Islam Tawfik, Head of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Printing Press.

This meeting comes as part of the university's orientation towards developing the administrative and technical structure of its service units, enhancing work efficiency, and achieving optimal use of resources, in a way that contributes to supporting the educational and research process and serving the university's various sectors.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that Assiut University is interested in developing the work system within its various sectors, within the framework of its comprehensive vision to improve institutional performance and improve the quality of services provided, pointing out that the periodic follow-up of work mechanisms and the modernization of administrative and technical systems is a key pillar to support the educational and research process and achieve the university's development goals

In this context, Professor Mohamed Adawy stressed that Assiut University continues to implement its development vision, and is keen to periodically follow up the performance of various sectors, in order to ensure the achievement of the highest levels of quality and efficiency, and reflects the institutional role of the university in serving the university community.

Under the chairmanship and presence of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, a delegation of university students participated in a visit to the Cairo International Book Fair in its fifty-seventh session for the year 2026, which is held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement, within the framework of the university's keenness to support cultural and knowledge awareness among its students, and enhance their participation in major national and cultural events, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President of Assiut University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The visit came under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the students of Assiut University were waiting for the President of the University upon his arrival at the exhibition headquarters, where they accompanied him during his tour of a number of different pavilions of the exhibition, in an atmosphere that reflected the students' interest in cultural and knowledge activities, and their keenness to interact positively with national institutions.

During the tour, the President of Assiut University and the student delegation inspected a number of pavilions of national bodies and institutions, including the pavilion of the Administrative Control Authority and the National Anti-Corruption Academy, where the students were briefed on the efforts made by the state in supporting the integrity and governance system, consolidating the principles of transparency, and building strong institutions capable of facing challenges.

The tour also included a visit to the Ministry of Defense's pavilion, where the students were briefed on the awareness and cultural content provided by the pavilion that reflects the role of the Egyptian Armed Forces in protecting national security, supporting comprehensive development efforts, and consolidating the values of national belonging, in a way that contributes to raising the awareness of youth about the role of national state institutions in maintaining the stability of the country.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the Cairo International Book Fair is one of the largest and most important cultural events at the local and international levels, as it represents an intellectual and knowledge platform that contributes to building the awareness of young people, developing their perceptions, and introducing them to the various issues of the country.

The President of the University explained that the participation of Assiut University students in the exhibition allows them to view the latest intellectual and scientific publications, and direct interaction with cultural and national institutions, in a way that enhances the spirit of national belonging and contributes to building the student's integrated personality scientifically, culturally and socially.

For his part Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, pointed out that the students toured the Administrative Control Authority's pavilion, and were briefed on the introductory materials and awareness activities, as well as listened to an explanation from the Authority's officials about the ways, policies, and directions of the Egyptian state, Egypt's global and regional position in the field of anti-corruption, and the efforts made to promote the values of integrity and governance within state institutions.

Professor Mohamed Adawy explained that the delegation's tour included a visit to the two wings of the Ministry of Interior and the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, where the students were briefed on the activities and publications of the Ministry of Interior, and its efforts in supporting national security, combating terrorism, and developing the system of services provided to citizens, especially in the fields of civil status. The students also learned about the role of the National Center for Social and Criminal Research in studying societal issues, supporting the decision-maker through scientific research and studies, and its most important publications aimed at raising community awareness.

Professor Mohamed Adawy added that the tour witnessed a positive interaction from the students, as there was an open dialogue between them and the officials of the pavilion on the role of the supervisory bodies in protecting the state's capabilities, the importance of spreading community awareness of the culture of integrity, and the role of youth in supporting the state's efforts to combat corruption.

It is worth mentioning that the 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair is the largest in its history in terms of the size of participation, the diversity of events, and the richness of cultural and intellectual content, as it witnesses the unprecedented participation of 1457 publishing houses from 83 countries, with a total of 6637 exhibitors, which is the largest international participation, making this edition an exceptional cultural event that consolidates Cairo's position as the capital of enlightenment and thought in the Arab world and the Middle East.
