Under the kind patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and under the supervision and organization of the Faculty of Physical Education, led by His Excellency Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, and Professor Dr. Asim Saber Rashed, Head of the Department of Curricula and Physical Education Teaching and Tournament Director. Yesterday, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, the Ramadan Football Tournament for faculty members from Assiut University colleges began. A public draw was conducted, groups were drawn, matchups and match schedules were determined, and the first day's matches were executed in an atmosphere filled with friendliness and intimacy among all participants and attendees.

The University Council’s decision issued on October 27, 2021 regarding military education courses for female students, including national education, was approved, as is the case for male students. Military education courses will begin as of the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, with 12 military education courses per semester and a maximum of 24 courses per academic year, according to what is stated in the memorandum.

Logo Design Competition for the Student Activities Sector With reference to the letter from Prof. Dr. Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities to the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities, which states that, in light of the fruitful cooperation between the Supreme Council of Universities and the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education, and to affirm the identity of Student Activities and achieve the goal of building an informed generation, the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, is launching a competition among specialized colleges at Egyptian universities to design a logo for the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry. This competition will run from March 15, 2025, until the end of April 2025. Student works will be evaluated in the first week of May 2025, and the three best works will be selected, with the winning students honored. Studentscu@scu.eg

The Public Service Center, affiliated with the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, announces a training course entitled: "Training Program for Designing a Concept Suitable for the Labor Market and Steps to Initiate Implementation (Business Model)." The course will be held after Ramadan for 12 hours over two days. The cost of the course, without support, is EGP 400 per student. Support from the Center is EGP 100, and EGP 50 for the top ten students. Students will also receive a certificate of attendance.
