Minister of Sport participates in international scientific conferenceDr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, participated in the international conference "Sport is a strength of the nation and a message of peace" organized by the Faculty of Sports Education at The University of Assiut, via video technology Conference from June 20 to 27, with the participation of 600 researchers, across the Arab world.The conference will include three seminars on "Sport is a strength of the nation and a message of peace", "university sports in the Arab world", "sports and the corona pandemic", which will be attended by Dr. Tarek Abdullah Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, Abdul Moneim Amara, former President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Dr. Ali al-Din Hilal, former Minister of Youth, Dr. Kamal Darwish, Professor of Management and Chairman of the Sports Education Sector Committee, Dr. Ahmed Manshawi, Vice President of the University, And Dr. Jamal Mohammed Ali, Dean of the Faculty and President of the Conference.During his intervention, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi praised the conference and its interlocutors, which came in accordance with a scientific vision, aimed at the Arab sports reality, where it was based on discussing the role of sports as one of the most important areas that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi considered "national security".Sobhi added that the Egyptian sports movement has witnessed a remarkable development over the past 6 years, explaining that the state attaches great importance to the field of sports, and that 2019 was the most prominent year in the level of achieving results and championships in various sports.Sobhi described Egypt as the kiss of sports federations, and that it has become one of the most important countries in the world attracting continental and international sporting events, thanks to the great construction infrastructure at the sports and youth levels, and this reflects Egypt's role in establishing the rules of peace and expresses its strength in the region.
